When you were pregnant you were constantly checked on.
"How are you feeling?"
"Are you getting enough sleep?"
"What do you need?"
When you gave birth the village started fading. The meals stop coming, the check-in texts dry up, but you still have to carry on.
It's like they helped you train for the marathon, but now you have to run it yourself, and you're also organising the damn water station.
Postpartum isn't just a new phase of your life, it's a whole new identity, and feeling like 'you' again means getting to know 'her'.

You can feel whole again
Imagine, instead, you felt curious about getting to know this new version of you.
You feel patient instead of pressured, being kind to yourself and your baby/babies.
Self-awareness begins to build, you can notice what triggers you, inspires you, and keeps you grounded.
You normalise all of the emotions in postpartum, because they each serve a purpose.
And you begin to find time for you again. You slowly find meaning and goals beyond naps and milk.
You become a mum you’re proud of, and you realise you should have been proud of her the whole time.

What's included?
Your three month container includes the following:

50 minute sessions
Five standard counselling sessions scheduled fortnightly to keep our rhythm stable.

90 minute session
One extended session to delve deeper into birth, past traumas, or something heavy coming up.

Free rescheduling
The first time you need to last-minute reschedule, your fee will be waived. Mum life, especially in this season is unpredictable, and I'm here to hold you.

You can reach out to me in-between sessions via text or voice message. If things come up for you out of session, I'm always here to talk about them, every step of the way!

Hey! I'm Chels, your future postpartum counsellor.
Maternal mental health is my biggest passion, especially as a mum whose experienced an array of ups and downs in postpartum and motherhood.
Lived experience
I'm a mum of two toddlers, with a history of perinatal depression and anxiety, and a long journey of healing.
Formal training
I am an ACA registered counsellor, trained in postpartum transition and trauma-informed care.
Informal concepts
My practice is inspired by many modalities, catered specifically to you. Concepts I resonate with come from Somatic Therapy, IFS (parts work), Root-Cause Therapy, Mindfulness, Manifestation, and Breathwork.
